I just got done watching 1.5 hours of Gonzo on C-SPAN 2

I just got done watching 1.5 hours of Gonzo on C-SPAN 2

3 things

1) I need a shower after just watching him ... you can sense the level
of contempt he has for the rule of law if it gets in his way.

2) The U.S. Attorneys seem to have been "button men" in a political war.

3) Not only is he a liar but a very bad one @ that. As a lawyer he sure
seems to lack the skill of thinking on his feet and staying a question or 2
in front of his adversary.

He corrected his lie to the committee by having a spokesperson issue a
statement he can not recall? :grr:

1. You are right ...
I never watch him due to blood pressure concerns.

But this law school graduate just looks at him, and sees the INCREDIBLE CONTEMPT he has for the Law. I just shake my head in amazement that we, as a nation, have sunk this low.

4. I am amazed at how outclassed he is by
Leahy, Whitehouse, Schumer, Durbin, and Spector (whom I assume are all lawyers).

He paints himself into corners and then tries to talk about something that does not
go to the point of the Senators' question.

If I had a parking ticket and he was my lawyer I would expect to do at least 20 years.

BTW Pat Leahy .... former county D.A. seems to know more than he is saying.

7. After being involved with a law suit .... i had a good trial lawyer
.... (BTW against a rich guy who tried every dodge in the book) .....

Gonzo seems to have some real "tells" when he is lying .... blinking, rigid body,
stutter, and some form of "I don't know" or "I will get back w/ you."

BTW when did the Vice President get legal authority to oversee criminal
investigation @ the DoJ?

9. Boy, is that last part a crock!
And, yet, the Democrats put impeachment "off the table." For Goshsakes, how many times do they have to desecrate our Constitution before they kick them out of office? It's incredible.

the actual invasion itself, which was illegal. There was no imminent danger of deadly force to either U.S. territory, or an ally, via the official action of a sovereign nation.

There was no U.N. authorization.

I don't buy that Saddam fired on one of our aircraft, without having been fired upon first. And, even so, that just wasn't legal justification for war.

Oh, and counts violation of the Geneva Convention, violation of the Constitution, which explicitly states that the right of habeas corpus shall not be infringed upon, and the practice of rendition.

Gonzo is an idiot...they need to keep calling him back...because he contradicts himself and lies everytime he comes back...

At one point Gonzo says "let me go on with my STORY"

Does he use the word Story to have a defense later that it was not testimony of events, just a Story!
