It's been a problem since Big Oil bought the state with their oil drilling leases and the pipeline. Life was MUCH more Democratic back before we sold our souls for the Permanent fund.

The ADN is a good newspaper, balanced, and has some terrific reporting staff. I hope everyone who thinks their states are "clean" can take a look at what's happening to us here, and take a closer look at home!
