Wherever you're enjoying your Beltway Elite recess, could you maybe acknowledge the palpable anger and frustration among even the most loyal Democratic-identifying citizens?

Whatever it is you're doing, you're failing. The promise held out by the midterm election is not just broken, it's shattered into a million pieces by votes like the FISA expansion and the Iraq appropriation.

They say acknowledging you have a problem is the first step. Advice from a friend: you have a problem, and it's time to acknowledge it. And that's just the first step.
