i am loving these debates
it is really helping to get the message out there and exposed to the public and it seems to be working wonders for the democrats. They should have done this years ago. All the debates usually started so late you never got a good view of the candidate and their views.
The debates have really moved me toward hillary though. I thought i would be for Obama and it would be an easy choice, but he keeps disappointing me. I just want him to impress me through the debates and he really hasn't. I think he has done a pretty poor job most of the time, maybe its not his forte but oh well. Hillary has impressed me so much, she has really stepped up her game and i feel she is strong and ready for the job. The person coming in is going to be the clean up leader after this trash has left office. I just want Obama to impress me again like he did in 2004 and he just hasn't and hasn't made me believe that he can do the clean up job. Edwards I gave up on after he spoke at the Georgia democrats dinner. It felt like an act. I think he is amazing and his wife, but i don't think he is presidential,i think he would make a fantastic vice president and maybe president someday. Thats my two-cents from a member of the 20-25 range group :). Love DU.

1. Hillary has shown what true leadership looks like in these debates

I have also been very impressed with her in these debates.

She consistently shows that she knows the issues. She is able to get into the nuance of the tough policy issues.

And you see that she is very deliberative in her thought process. She knows how to think things through.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Hillary is THE democratic candidate who is ready to be President on Day One. She's ready.

I definitely agree with you that Obama's debate performances have been extremely poor. I don't believe he's ready for prime time. He doesn't seem to put a lot of thought into his answers. Earlier this evening, someone made note that during the debate tonight, Obama referred to the "President" of Candada. Canada does not have Presidents, Mr. Obama. They have Prime Ministers. This really reminded me of the kind of mistake George W. Bush would make, such as the time when Bush referred to Africa as a "country," when anyone with half a brain knows Africa is a continent.
