Is anyone buying the Time with Family thing from Karl?
Come On, this guy lives and breaths evil, he is leaving the spotlight of the bu$h regime for what?

Work on securing the election in 08 for the successor to bu$h/dick regime?

Plan another 9/11?

This guy isn't just retiring from politics just like that. I don't believe it for a minute.

Thoughts?

2. His family excuse is the ultimate cliche.
The family has nothing to do with the change of direction for Rove.

5. He has a son and a beard (oops, I meant wife)
In public earlier this year he couldn't remember his son's age.

I can't either but I'm not the poor child's father.

15. "Undisclosed" That is my thought
He needs to get out of the spot light so he can run something BIG!
Something that his whereabouts must be less detectable.

6. He needs time with his Family.
before he goes to federal prison.

Any State AGs feel like filing charges on Karl? Junior can't pardon a State conviction.

--snip--

"There are, however, things that a pardon cannot cover. The first and most obvious is impeachment, since it is specifically excepted in the Constitution. Civil liability cannot be excused - a harm against another can still be considered a harm even if there is no longer any criminal liability. Contempts of court cannot be pardoned, as they are offenses against the dignity of the court, and not necessarily offenses against the law. In the Constitutional Convention, a proposal to except treason was popular, but was defeated when the talk turned to granting the Senate only the power to pardon treason."

7. Before he goes to Fed prison??
No, I don't buy that. All of B*shco have thought they are untouchable all along and I don't think KKKarl's mind has changed about that. No, I think that he's moving on the bigger and more evil contests.

14. I think it just said that to "rub" it in our faces.
We are constantly saying when a republican leaves office to "spend more time with their family", it is the republican way of being asked to resign. Since we are sure rove has a slimy reason for resigning, he said that to laugh at our expense.
