thru the GOP race thus far: He comes across as genuine. Not slick, programmed, or packaged. He's got his trashy mistress-wife, his fondness for dresses, his Mussolini-like "respect my authority" attitude, and his overblown sense of achievement on 9/11...BUT...he is who he is. I think that's why he's still the front-runner.

The guy is carrying more baggage than a 747. But I can visualize our candidate praising him for his "courage on Sept 11" instead of beating him about the head and shoulders with all his personal issues, past racial incidents, lack of planning for September 11, lack of foreign policy experience and on and on. Like when Hillary Clinton said we were now safer than on September 11.

I want it to be understood from here I am not attacking Christians when I make the following comments....If for all these many years the right wing has never supported anyone that was pro-choice, or believed in gay rights, then along comes Rudy and they seem to throw all their prior reasons out the window. Is this hyprocrisy?
Was it hypocrisy that many right to lifers went up to New Jersey and threw their support behind Christie Todd Whitman in the Senate race who was I believe pro choice and believed in late term abortions and the mothers health and the health to have more children was placed in jeopardy.....
This is what bothers me about the right wing. Seems they can justify it with their Yeshua, but call pro choice Dems all kinds of vile names.....Just trying to understand....
