My DNC Survey Response. Must See!
Below is a scanned image of the front and back of my Democratic National Committee survey. I usually send them a donation but this time they are getting something special!

I love free advertising, don't you?

2. I sent them a picture of a blank check
and told them "If you are so fond of blank checks, here is one for you. I didn't bother with your survey because you apparently aren't interested in what I think in the first place."

8. So excellent. Thank you.
I received one at my PO Box that I filled out according to the options of their agenda. That one didn't even have my name right.

I just "filled out" the one I received at home which corresponds to my voter registration. Actually, I didn't fill it out. I scrawled my outrage that the DNC does not represent me if they continue to be cowards that don't respect the Constitution.

Great idea from jgrazz about the 2 cents. It adds extra weight and postage. "Not a dime from me until impeachment is on the table."

Thank you for this inspiration. I'm so glad I got a do over.

I hope I get one. What a perfect opportunity to let them know what "real people" think. If they get enough of these, they might get a clue.

I loved the blank check idea as well. Maybe we should start a campaign to flood their office with blank checks. It would get more attention than a petition.

It makes me look like a concerned, pissed off citizen. That was a quite rightist comment you made there pal. I do not much enjoy being labeled nor ridiculed for my acts of dissent.

Anyone that votes in Favor of any more War is just as much a traitor as the Repugs in the White House. IMHO

I am sure they will enjoy your $35, it will buy them a Martini during their luncheon meetings designated to fuck us even more.

Out of all in Congress only 2, count them 2, people voted against "Labeling Iran a Terrorist Entity". It's proof, they all want Blood. Or are too chickenshit to stand up to these thugs.

Either way, they are either Sell-outs or Cowards... Take your pick.

Here is the beauty of the thing, I have the Right to rebel in my own Way, as do you. Carry On!

The politics there is so dangerously conservative, and the elections so easily hacked, that anyone who wants to elect a Democrat is just short of a jail sentence. (i.e. working for Democrats can get you targeted by Billy Bob the sheriff. )

However, the folks that take these donations in office understand that not everyone is under the yoke of oppression that some southerners are under. And I appreciate your contribution to the DNC...Howard Dean has earned our contributions, with what his 50-state strategy has done. I send him money, too.

But it's also important for the message to get through to our congresscritters that WE worked to elect them, and they're working against us.

Both are correct approaches.

32. Congress, whatever we may say of them, has a lot of smart people.
I'm sure they've seen their (dis)approval rating.

Howard Dean is a primary reason I still feel comfortable giving money to the DNC. That, and how awesome would it be for us to finally have a Dem president, but lose congress at the same time?

34. I have no problem with Dean himself...
I have a problem with the Misrepresentation being displayed by our Elected Democrats. The more messages they receive of our disapproval, the more they JUST MIGHT LISTEN for once..
Spend your money as you wish, but until I see some drastic changes, I would rather save my money.

43. Those who "caved" are in CONGRESS....the DNC is not part of CONGRESS
You need to read my post. I never excuse votes in Congress. It is just that I know that Dean's plan at the DNC will eventually give more power to the individuals in the party and take it away from DC.

Your post just ranting at the DNC is one reason the Democrats do not take the "left" seriously.

It is not targeted correctly.

37. I have conflicting feelings about this arguement
I agree with you that we need to support the democrats right now, but we also need to let them know what we expect. We all express ourselves in different ways. We can support the Democrats and still let them know that support comes with certain conditions.

47. Please help me understand you. Choose one.
Main Entry: grov·el
Pronunciation: 'grä-v&l, 'gr&-
Function: intransitive verb
Inflected Form(s): -eled or -elled; -el·ing or -el·ling
Etymology: back-formation from groveling prone, from groveling, adverb, from Middle English, from gruf, adverb, on the face (from Old Norse A grufu) + -ling
1 : to creep with the face to the ground : CRAWL
2 a : to lie or creep with the body prostrate in token of subservience or abasement b : to abase oneself
3 : to give oneself over to what is base or unworthy : WALLOW <groveling in self-pity>

I can't see which one would apply.

about who is fucking us and who isn't. Let me show you something that the DNC boasts on their website:

The Democratic National Committee plans the Party's quadrennial presidential nominating convention; promotes the election of Party candidates with both technical and financial support; and works with national, state, and local party organizations, elected officials, candidates, and constituencies to respond to the needs and views of the Democratic electorate and the NATION.

Are your needs or views being met? Thanks for playing!
