Tweety has Bob (Dumb) Shrum and *ucker has Fenn, this sad, sorry excuse for a "Democrat." What should have been a balanced debate about John Edwards turned into a slamfest, all three "commentators" (including Thug Cliff May) pretty much agreeing to skewer the candidate. Nice work, MSRNC.

2. Peter Fenn is part of the Washington Beltway Cocktail party consultant crowd
The professional election losers that are anointed as "experts" by the corporate MSM.

3. Both he and Shrum are DLC DINOs. Why are only DLC shills being used
on these talk shows. It's not getting the DNC message out, it's getting the DLC message out. And, they who control the message, control the hearts and minds of the voters.

It's a stinking shame.

4. Dem spokesmen ought to be pre-certified by DU
Democrats should decide for themselves whom their spokespeople are. Prior to being called on to represent the "democratic" point of view, personalities should be screened by the membership here at DU.

If WE say a guy or gal is a Dem spokesperson, then they ARE one.

If we DON'T say a guy or gal is an approved spokesperson, then they AREN'T one, and we should bitch, bitch, people that the networks NEVER allow te Democratic point od view to be aired.

Eventually, if we bitch enough, we can embarass the MSM into actually being sort of fair.

5. that's kind of a nifty idea
A speakers forum.

That's how the vast right-wing conspiracy was able to haunt the Clintons. They deployed pundits trained by the Independent Womens Forum, the Federalist Society, and the other various right-wing, Scaife-funded foundations and think tanks.

They were deployed from the word go. Their message was controlled daily. They were brutal. Ruthless.

We could have a speakers forum drawn from within.

Or we could just certify people who we know will act in our interest and tell the truth. Sort of akin to the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.
