1. Congrats to Senator Clinton's steady lead and Obama and Edwards for
the sheer holding steady, and boo hoo hoo to America's Thugs, Rudy Giuliani, for the very noticeable drop in support.

You'd think for as often as the fool hammered away on 9/11 that his numbers would be discernibly higher on the even of its anniversary.

Rudy faces some tough going this fall, I think.

2. It is difficult to believe
that Hillary with the Clinton name and all her important political connections has not broken 50% by now. Obama is holding steady at where he needs to be at this point and Edwards still has plenty of life especially when you consider his popularity in the all important state of Iowa. If Hillary doesn't break away soon and Gore endorses either Edwards or Obama it is really going to get interesting. IMHO

7. Not difficult to believe at all
she's in an 8-way race. I don't know of ANY candidate in a wide open race who gets 50% or more.

10. so will that be the new line from "progressives?"
Moving beyond the silly claims of the Clintons tampering with poll results, we've heard poll results being rationlized by "progressives" claiming THEY weren't polled, and the primaries are still too far off.

But now that the poll numbers hold - week after week and month after month - we're now hearing that having a 20%+ lead is weak and not good enough.

12. Man, talk about moving the goalposts.
Apparently if Hillary is not polling more than everyone else combined she's running into problems. Meanwhile, Obama having half the support she does (with no upwards momentum whatsoever) counts as "holding steady where he needs to be." :eyes:

6. what the hell is wrong with people?
Edited on Tue Sep-11-07 01:34 AM by Adenoid_Hynkel
The last thing this party needs is a return to the imbecile corporatists who lost the congress, legislatures, governorships and made the White House race close enough for bush to steal

All the gains the grassroots have made since '02 will be nil if Clinton/Carville take charge again
Will Dick Morris be far behind?

Hillary being rapturous that she is standing with close personal friend, FAUX News owner Rupert Murdoch

9. I love people who call Hillary a "corporatist"
Why do CEOs favor Obama over Hillary? Why does wall street give more donations to Obama than Hillary? Get your facts straight, and then maybe your candidate will do a bit better.

13. Hillary is still behind in Iowa and we like it that way!
Bill Clinton did lose the Congress in 1994. Ask Dick Gephardt.

And Hillary Clinton ran a top down health care package that alienated everybody and their dog. There are probably a couple thousand people who have died every year since 1993 because little Hill was going to jam HER plan down everyone's throats and guess what . . . she got her ass handed to her! So her answer in 2007-2008 is to bring more Hillbots.

I have a better idea, let's nominate and elect a president who can talk to people, not "vilify" them like Senator Bradley claimed little Hill said when she got to the U.S. Senate.

ABC!

ABC!

ABC!
