Please watch Hardball today
Biden let it all out -
his anger and his tears.
Powerful stuff.

And then he is followed up by Webb.

5. A very unusual type of show for Hardball!
Edited on Tue Sep-11-07 07:02 PM by NI4NI
Two highly significant Dems in seperate segments given unobstructed time to speak.

Plus a segment questioning JulieAnnie's 9/11 heroism.

I wonder what's up with Tweety, considering the fact that Move-On and Daily Kos were his quests yesterday?

I can hear all the Renamblacans screaming "liberal media bias" just before their heads explode.

7. Keith beat O'Reilly in ratings on Friday
That can't hurt, plus Matthews really, really is opposed to this war.

8. Thanks for posting, I watched it a second time...
It's so heartbreaking to be a regular American unable to change what's happening to our troops and to innocent Iraqis, and you could see that Joe Biden is just as frustrated and upset as we are ~ a poignant interview!

Why can't our congresspeople be convinced to keep the next funding bill from going to the floor for a vote? What am I missing???

9. Keep in mind that Tweety was a cheerleader in the runup to this shit
It may be his conscience, it may be he's seen the light, it may be his producers/handlers ..... no matter what is causing any actual or feigned epiphany of late, Chris Matthews was a a star struck mary for all the big butch men who were talking tough after 9/11. He continued to cheerlead as we went into ..... IRAQ. He has nothing to be proud of. He is as much a reason we are in Iraq as any neocon. Jack Welch has had his balls in a parachute for years.

Fuck Chris Matthews.

10. Mathews has always been against this war.
He may kiss this administration's ass in every other area, but
not this war.

12. If that's true, he sure didn't ask any hard questions...
Instead, he gave the administration a nightly platform to push their lies without challenge.

13. But let's not forget what a fair-weather friend he's been to the war.
On "Mission Accomplished" day when captain codpiece was prancing around the deck of the aircraft carrier in his flight suit, our pal chris couldn't gush loudly and slobberingly enough. "We're ALL neoCONS now!" he chortled, shamelessly.

I think his conscience is getting to him. Because back when it was chic, he was a frickin' cheerleader - all rah-rah-rah all the time.

And yeah, I think he has a father complex, or some sort of manliness issue. Maybe he got punched out one too many times on the playground from first through fifth grade and is still looking for a BIGGER bully to pound the schoolyard bully who got to him. He's got a serious testosterone complex. Why would he keep on gushing and slobbering whenever some alleged political he-man walks across the stage? He's done it for giuliani, he's done it for fred thompson, he's done it for mccain. For a BUNCH of 'em. And certainly george swagger bush.

15. Personally, I think the man is on drugs.
He's insane. It's like he gets off on politics and politicians. He is also obsessed with Hillary.
He drools while he talks about her.

11. He sure was!
I fired off all kinds of emails before giving up on him ~ seems he finally gets it now. Bush's faux war couldn't have happened without the constant drum beat of a media culture that completely forgot the investigative part of its job.

16. Biden's story about a C130 ride with 'Fallen Angels' was especially..
touching.
Fallen Angels is a military euphamism for dead soldier in a military casket.
Biden asked a question without an answer: why did these men become fallen angels?
