Of the Democratic players available for President ...
I would love to see them form a team to STOP Sen. Clinton from impeding what little momentum the Progressive movement has made in the last 15 yrs. The Republicans know that even if they can't beat her, they can count on her to triangulate the NeoCon positions.

1. Are you serious?
Most of them are running so that when she gets her "inevitable" nomination, she'll choose them for VP on her ticket.

3. uh... yeah...
:eyes:

Let's see. We have Clinton-lite Obama (He sounds great, but he's less filling) and Edwards (I want to apologize for my entire Senate Career.) Combining their numbers, they still don't topple Clinton. Besides, poll after poll shows Clinton to be the overwhelming second choice among Democrats, too.

Biden, Dodd, and Richardson stand to benefit from a Clinton nom/predidency.

6. Democrats vote in caucuses and primaries from January on. The process
is imperfect but until it is reformed it's the way the game is played.

A majority of votes usually translates into a majority of delegates at the convention.

That's how it works.

I think a strong case can be made that the Democratic presidential candidate field are all running excellent campaigns.

The voters sort this out to their liking within the strengths and weaknesses of the nomination process.
