Bill Bilichick fined more than Scooter Libby
Edited on Fri Sep-14-07 03:37 PM by Netbeavis
Bilichick fined $500,000 for spying in a paid, harmless, recreational activity. (NFL football)

Libby fined $250,000 for committing felonious acts while in higher office.

What is wrong with this picture?

Thank you Bill Richardson for pointing this out to us.

2. Yeah, there's something wrong with that pic...
but, football ain't harmless. Just ask Kevin Everett.

Bellichick should have been suspended for 4 games.

Libby should be rotting away in prison.

6. the word harmless was a figure of speech
Edited on Fri Sep-14-07 03:50 PM by Netbeavis
NFL football is harmless when comapared to being a Marine of US Soldier in Iraq. When compared to chess, not so much.

No one died last weekend in the NFL and only one was (fluke) crippled. You can not say that about being in Iraq.

The use was to emphasize the severity of Scootahs actions when compared to a game.

4. Mclaren fined 100 million for having possesion of ferrari documents!
As long as we play the political game with our elections, we will always have this type of shit happening. Vote for a candidate that isn't playing the political games and the maybe we can have change in our country, follow the media for advice on what candidate to choose and have the same. Our country is going down hill and we could stop it, we choose not to.

5. It's always about winning at all costs, including the sacrifice of your own integrity.
libby should be in prison and bilichick should be banned from football for life; such is the life and justice of the privileged.

7. Didn't ABC get like $500 000
for having a split second view of Janet Jackson's breast. No one died over that either. But there were thousands of right wing nut jobs who saw the scene went to bathroom for a while & then called the station & wrote the FCC to complain.

8. Why wasn't Belicheck fired?
Edited on Fri Sep-14-07 04:03 PM by Uben
An act of dishonesty like that should result in dismissal. He tried to cheat, and with millions of dollars at stake on sports bets all around the world, it should be a felonious act as well. That puts Belicek about oner rung above OJ SImpson in my book.
As long as cheaters, ie Libby, Belicek, Tom Delay, et al are allowed to cheat and go free with a slap on the wrist, the cheating will continue. Why wouold these high profile people ruin their reputation by cheating?

What? He wasn't actually the one who did the filming? Well, he didn't fire the person that did it when he did the same thing last year. That makes him complicit and responsible.

He should be banned from football forever, just like Pete Rose was. Tit for tat.

I hate lying cheating bastards!
