Dems in Congress: Fight or Game OVER in 2009. Period.

Why can’t they grasp this? We can’t change a communal civil war. W and his apologists lie when they say this isn’t about that, when that is core to “success” in that country. W lies and it doesn’t get called on in a BIG way. Reid should have a press conference with the entire party lilterally behind him saying enough of this. What is happening is wrong, immoral and making us less safe. Most American agree. If they fold again, the GAME OVER. If a Dem wins the White House, they will be taken down by this one issue, as the GOP will turn up the rhetoric in which ever direction wedges the Dem president and the American people regarding the war. That person and the party will be blamed.

We KNOW the script. In fact, it’s a rerun. Whatever it takes to prevent W from going down this path, must happen sooner, not later. For the troops and for our country. Again, if they don’t take a stand now, not only will this immoral bullshit continue, but the Democrats who are right will be made more irrelevant.

Do you think that the GOP would act the same in reverse. We know they wouldn’t because they have acted in reverse. One only look at the 90’s and the military actions that Clinton took.
