You Kerry people: I sympathize with you because you picked who you thought was the best candidate but your boy's gone downhill for a long time now and it appears he's now trolling the gutter...maybe it's time for you to pick a new horse.

Edited on Thu Dec-18-03 04:23 PM by oasis

9. Why vote for a moderate when you can actually vote for a liberal?

4. LOL that's funny..they admit Dean said it but then recontextualize it
Edited on Thu Dec-18-03 04:23 PM by nothingshocksmeanymo
"and in fact Dean might have chosen a better word to characterize the consultative process that should have preceded the war."

We all criticize Bush for not thinking before he speaks, but when Dean is careless about his choice of words, people should KNOW he meant somethig else. :eyes:

BTW..I think this goes in the new forum

7. Vote for Kerry? Maybe not
Kerry is now joining that rapidly growing list of Democrats I would not vote for if a meteor landed on his tour bus tommorow and he won the primary....

Because I think it's obvious that Kerry is going to get the nomination right after Al Sharpton does...

8. Why? His criticism is legitimate. Walsh fucked up as a journalist
by not noticing Dean's inconsistencies and is now blaming Kerry for pointing them out.

Tough. If Gore had pointed out the press's dropped balls on Bush's deceptions he'd be president today.

The media doesn't do its job and blames the candidate who points it out? That's some gall.

11. Like when Dean says the candidates are pro unilateral war
Too bad, so sad. Dean has out and out lied so many times in this primary, these remarks by Kerry are fair game. We've been saying for months Dean has got to learn to be careful with his words. He still doesn't get it. Too bad for him.

12. It is very interesting that Walsh quoted part of what Dean said,
but the only part of Kerry's words put in quotes was "permission".
I would like to see exactly what Kerry said. She seems to have trouble with reading comprehension when it comes to what Kerry has said about his vote.

Sorry to see her fall for that garbage.

13. Interesting
Does anyone believe these games of political "gotcha" have any real play with voters?

Is it possible that Dean, while inconsistent in statements, was, in fact, consistent in message while Kerry--who is always consistent in statement--has been wildly inconsistent in message? I realize the answer from some here will be that the ENTIRE MEDIA MACHINE (the one propping up Dean and holding down Kerry) is just plain wrong/biased/corrupt/whatever.
