1. pat pisses me off, especially when I find myself agreeing with him.
his rant on the manufacturing and trade issues is correct. Our corporate leaders have fucked the american worker.

2. Reich is taking it on the chin
Pat Buchanan is absolutely right on this issue. Reich is trying to justify a policy that HE helped write. He's talking around it about "definitions" of this and that. Buchanan is right on this. Period.

5. Damn -- he's made good points in the past ... Trickle OUT econ for one
Rich people in this country taking their money OUT, as opposed to letting it trickle DOWN as has been so famously promised ... Too bad that Bat Puke Annan apparently got the better of him.

6. It's really sad when one of the few well-known politicians speaking up
for the American worker is a Republican.

The mainstream Dems are on the wrong side of this issue and have been since the 1990s.

They need to get out and talking to people more.

14. Truman - and race.
Edited on Mon Oct-08-07 08:03 PM by democrat2thecore
Are you familiar with Harry Truman's rather....shall we say....colorful language regarding people of color? It's amazing you can use the foul language you use because you are angry they are a "racist" while TRUMAN was every bit the racist. I say all this because, of course, your username and avatar.

20. it was amazing to see Reich as the bad guy
It was revealing, to me. I saw the Clintons as enemies of the middle class and the American worker, as Reich spoke. Gah! How revolting!
