40. She's the polar opposite of Bush.
She's smart, rational, sickeningly premeditated, she focus-tests every position within an inch of its life, she exudes cool competence. She's the anti-Bush, for better and for worse.

Everybody grows into it, and the definition of what a president looks like changes as they're absorbed into the line.

Romney came straight from Central Casting. He could play one on TV.

25. You have to consider that a frontrunner
generally runs a very different race than the others. I don't think it's a reflection of her arrogance, but rather more of a campaign strategy to be seen as a leader, focus on the GOP and ignore her Democratic rivals as insignificant. For Obama and Edwards, the race IS her right now and they have to try to chip away at her lead.

Edited on Mon Oct-08-07 06:56 PM by Robson
Be assured that she will not bite the hand that feeds her, and she will not ever tax these NYC private equity people that are stealing the lifeblood from this country so that they can make their billions.

She is in bed with many of these elitists because they've supported her fund raising efforts.

41. No, the Clinton Machine ran best when they embraced their social liberal side - they've alienated us
and we "won't jump" for them any longer.

The Clinton Machine with their high test DLC with NO ADDED Liberal Octane will crash and burn without the activists ... and most of the activists (those of us who get out, make calls, beat the pavement) are usually LEFT LEANING. We know what the DLC thinks of us LIBERALS - we are "UN-clean" and "UN-wanted."

Clinton's new Neo-Liberalism has kicked "the left" to the curb and "we ain't coming back" to vote for any DLC candidates. Pair the foregoing with a massive right wing smear campaign emanating from every M$M outlet ... well HRC will be toast to ANY republican candidate ... yes even Alfred E. Newman (Fred Thompson).

Edited on Mon Oct-08-07 08:54 PM by ShortnFiery
Again, you've lost your High Octane "Liberal" additives. You've always been able to count on the vast majority of us liberals (not Greens) to get in line. However, now The Clintonian DLC has no use for the Non-Investor Classes in favor of their coveted Mega-Corporate donors. :(

Without US, The Clinton machine is only firing on three (HRC, Bill and DLC) cylinders. Therefore, the M$M's attacks will *stick* and *sink* HRC's campaign. When the dust settles, all these three losers need to do is --> look in the mirror when they want to fix blame. ;)

We're quite tired of both The Clintons and The Bushes.

Of course, in comparison to Bush, Clintons are golden ... but we've had quite enough of both.

Further, it's clear whomever wins the WH, corporations will continue to rule. Many of us can accept reality but would like to do so KNOWING that it's not "Bill's Boys and Girls of the DLC" BACK in the Executive Branch. That's way too much cronyism - 16 YEARS is too much!

No, they ain't that tough ... not since they kicked "the leftists" to the curb. The wheels will soon come-off of The Clintonian DLC ... that's why I hope and pray that we Nominate someone other than HRC.

I was reading about this campaign Lee Atwater ran in the lates 70's or 80's in South Carolina...It was against a Jewish or Greek man running for A.G., or governor, or senator...He had an ethnic sounding last name (Don't remember all the details anymore)... Atwater had his candidate run an ad with the tagline "Vote for _____ He's one of us."

You have to be cold hearted to do that stuff...

Or Jesse Helms' "you really needed that job but they gave it the black guy" ad...

Hillary is the Republican primary candidate, and even if Dan Quayle is nominated..they hope he can win in November.
