Take The Pledge

I promise not to start negative threads about any Democratic candidate and I haven't in over four years of posting here...

But nothing in my pledge precludes me from responding to a negative thread in kind...

BTW- I respect your work...Getting out there and getting your hands dirty... I have worked on some campaigns...I can't now because I'm a full time caregiver to my eighty nine year old mom... I also manage to run a small business...

7. You can write letters

My main gig is letters to the editor. One a week either for my candidate, my future Senator Jeanne Shaheen or one of the other dems or dem issues.

Letters are easy and they do work.

I shook his dad's hand at a 1964 Rego Park, New York campaign event when he was running for senator... I still have a letter somewhere he wrote me when I was nine years old...I also have a letter from Ted Kennedy...

DCB, I'll bet you cherish those letters and memories more as the years pass. If I had been so fortunate as to be living in the 60s, I know I would have been out on the front lines campaigning for JFK and RFK!

RFK Jr. has been a hero for my generation. And I would sooooo love to see him as the next "President Kennedy" someday. If not now, maybe 2012 or 2016. His time will come.

But I don't start bashing threads and I usually don't intrude in threads that people start to tout the candidate of their choice...

If someone starts a thread about how great their candidate is I don't usually chirp in that he or she sucks...
