1. It's sad to hear him going negative.
He's going to blow that VP spot if he keeps it up.

Hubby will do his "Black Bill" impersonation and sweet talk blacks into voting for her. Good luck, Bill.

19. My sentiments exactly

While Bill Clinton was/is loved by many African Americans we do have brains and we can think for ourselves.

HC is NOT Bill Clinton and Obama has support from many African Americans but his beauty lies in his ability to relate on a global platform.

Condi Rice is African American and believe me, she is hated in the African American community.

I have not changed it because it is also my real name.

I am supporting Obama and happy to be doing so.

I will support the Democratic ticket however.

Therefore, I'll take your word for it.

21. Perhaps! Donna Brazille was on CNN now and she was shameless for the DLC
She commented on how many African Americans considered Bill Clinton "The First Black President" sooo ... by extrapolation, if HRC gets elected president, she could be "The First Sister." Oh and BTW the republican strategists on FULLY AGREED with sage Donna. :puke:

At that point, I had to turn off the television or I would have picked it up and flung it out the window. :grr:

Shameless pandering by all these "on air" democratic strategists for HRC. I'm beyond disgusted and have to just "take a break."

I'll vote for Obama in the primary and if HRC wins, I'll later write-in "Dennis Kucinich."

I'm so depressed I'm even ignoring calls from my local democratic party reps who are asking me to help canvass. I'll buck up because I love our local candidates but I will not ever vote for another DLC democrat. :(

49. I think he will be selected for the VP slot, just look at how much money he has:
http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/index.asp?cycle=2008

Besides, it isn't like he is ideologically very different from Hillary anyway. He considers Joseph Lieberman to be a mentor...

18. I agree
They were writing off Kerry at this time in the last cycle. Granted, Hillary's machine is better prepared than Dean's was, but you just never know. I say vote who you believe in, regardless of who you think can win. Nobody should be written off or pre-ordained.

No one is paying attention to the election yet except us political wonks. The general public has not researched the candidates. It's all name recognition. EVERY election it's like this. When will we ever learn?

Also, there are quite a few of us who are not falling for the coronation of Hillary BS. If she wins the nomination fine, but I am not going to listen to Tweety ("the NASCAR Drivers love Rudi because he is a Leader.") and the rest of them tell me it is a done deal in October.

in Iowa, NH, NV, and SC.

Most of the money he's spending is not on television advertising.

Most of the money he's spending won't be visible to anyone until the night of the Iowa caucuses.

46. Polls dont tell t he whole story, if they do, it means many Americans...
still want a republican in office. Don't the polls show Obama in a tie or losing to Rudy? I cant see that as being the truth, too many Americans want out of the war and are not happy with what the republicans have done to the country. Everyone should ignore the polls, vote for the person that represents you the most and then see what happens after that. Otherwise, I think allot of people will be giving up on who they like and throwing away there primary vote.

but can only just barely edge past Obama in fundraising. And that's even with the PAC $ she relies so heavily on.

What gives? Why don't so many of her supposed supporters want to contribute?
