Exclusive: Two Moonies Running for Congress
What make this particularly noxious is that the two wrote an article admitting that the Congress's establishment of Parents Day was a covert way to pay tribute to Sun Myung Moon: http://scoobiedavis.blogspot.com/2007/10/cults-and-power-two-moonies-seeking-us.html

2. We should be informed about Moon's activities
Nobody is denying their rights to run for elective office. However, they are in a movement that has the goal of a theocracy in which those people who want to retain their individuality will be "digested" and "will perish." Unfortunately, despite the fact that Moon had dumped over $3 billion to achieve these undemocratic goals, few in the national media are concerned.

6. Mormons, Baptists, Moonies, Muslims, Catholics, Hindus, etc.
They are all the same to me. Just folks believing in fairy tales, and I understand enough about human nature to know belief systems aren't going away. However, I wouldn't rank one fantasy over the others.
