It doesn't matter who wins Either way I'm probably gonna get screwed. One will go too far and another won't go far enough. Either way suburban middle classers like me will be handed the tab. And the tab for any unforseen consequences of those same initiatives as well.
Even if the next president succeeds beyond their wildest hopes, I'll still get stuck paying for it all. The squeeze continues unabated. Through presidents of both parties. Through wars and recesssions. The Middle class gets the bill. and the squeeze continues.
the war will drag on nothing meaningful will emerge out of Congress the wide divide between parties will grow Iraq will become a satellite state of Iran
The boss will continue to look worried My co-workers will be jumpy Everybody's credit cards will be maxed out. College tuition will exponentially increase.
And don't even get started with Global Warming
Or The Red Sox.

Feudalism. Same as it ever was.
Sometimes I'm not so sure the great experiment is working.
I don't have the time or energy to storm the halls of congress demanding they get their shit together for once.Imagine their response if everybody who feels this way just showed up one day to give them an earful.
So I turn inward and just tend to my own immediate needs and family, which is plenty on anyone's plate these days.
