Obama, Osama, Osama, Obama -- Romney has 'brief mix-up'

From USA Today:

Our partners at ABC News say Mitt Romney had a hard time today in South Carolina with the names Obama and Osama. From Political Radar: "Republican candidate Mitt Romney repeatedly invoked the name of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., Tuesday while talking about terrorist leader Osama bin Laden."

Romney spokesman Kevin Madden said his boss "simply misspoke ... It was just a brief mix-up."

Obama spokesman Bill Burton had a sharp response: "Apparently, Mitt Romney can switch names just as casually as he switches positions."

13. Gelmet head is so obvious its laughable.

Let's review the Mitt campaign so far

Has sunk tens of millions of his own dough into the campaign because he can't fundraise.

Has abandoned every centrist position he ever had as a Gov of a blue state.

Has at least a half dozens public gaffes including claims that his enlistment eligible sons were serving their country by getting him elected.

Has a deficit of double digits in head to head matchups with all the Big 3.
