Obama Endorsed by Columbus Mayor

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama accepted the endorsement Friday of Columbus Mayor Mike Coleman, the first black mayor of the nation's 15th largest city.

"He has the optimism and the ability to get things done," Coleman said told a youthful crowd at a rally.

Obama praised Coleman as a "trailblazer who has made Columbus a model for cities across the country."

"Whether it's by promoting sustainability through his Get Green initiative or creating jobs and keeping a balanced budget even as Ohio faced a tough economic climate, Mayor Coleman has built coalitions and united Democrats and Republicans to get things done," Obama said in excerpts of his remarks released later by his campaign.

Two other Democratic mayors of large cities, Richard M. Daley of Chicago and Adrian M. Fenty of Washington, also have endorsed Obama.

It would be good judgment to dump the "Ex- Homosexual" , but alas he has not.

The choice we have is to be honest or not, that is the only choice involved. You really need to educate yourself before posting something like that again.

Everyone knows that....It's a free country, freedom of choice....One can make a choice to be what ever they choose to be and become in life.

Where were his top rivals in 2002, when Obama was standing strong againmst the war in Iraq?

They supported it quite enthusiastically.

We understand why.

And, come Monday, you'll still hate him for exactly the same reasons.

in Ohio today....Just a good day......but you have to be intrusive and bitter in posting your irrelevant thought. Heck, I support Hillary but took the kids to the event just to give them campaign exposure and experience; a feel for understanding the process, to participate.

The photo's are beautiful......but then you immediately pop-in; with not self control at all....making the thread a "personal issue". You just couldn't resist behaving badly now could you?
