5. Another worthy group is COLAGE.
Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere.

http://www.colage.org/

Our Mission: To engage, connect, and empower people to make the world a better place for children of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender parents and families.

People and Place: COLAGE was created for people just like you! In the United States alone, more than 10 million people have one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender parent(s). Today, COLAGE is the only national organization in the world specifically supporting children, youth and adults with LGBT parent(s). Using our experiences and creativity, COLAGE offers a diverse array of support, education and advocacy by and for folks with LGBT parents.

COLAGE Community: Whether you already know lots of other people with LGBT parent(s), or always thought you were the only one, COLAGE is a source of friendship and understanding. It is a place where you can talk about your family with complete honesty and pride. COLAGE is an organization that accepts your family AND celebrates it! Welcome- You've Got a Friend in COLAGE!

8. Why don't you donate to a LGBT youth group
Since I think the McCurkin thing harmed young people in the audience most of all.

My humble suggestion.

7. Funny you should ask, because I included a link in your other OP
as a response to your statement of making a donation for "us all."

Here's my choice: http://www.scequality.org/

It's particularly pertinent because it is an organization in South Carolina.

9. Victory fund if you are feeling political
http://www.victoryfund.org/home

The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund is the nation's largest LGBT political action committee and the only national organization dedicated to increasing the number of openly LGBT elected officials at all levels of government. Since 1991, the Victory Fund and its national donor network have helped hundreds of openly LGBT candidates win election to local, state and federal offices.
