You honestly think this is worse than a congress that, say, tried to diagnose terri schiavo from a video, and prevent her family from making their choice? Just an example. Or, for example, authorized the iraq war? or voted in the patriot act?

9. Oh hell no, not kidding at all

Those were Repub-dominated Congresses, of COURSE they would do those things, it's their nature.

But seeing a Dem-dominated Congress do WORSE (namely, take impeachment off the table, drag their heals on contempt citations, funding the war, etc etc etc) is, imho, far far worse, because they SHOULD know and do better.

Right/wrong good/bad are often determined by the context we place, and the expectations we hold.

So yes, I agree with him. Sorry.

8. He's pissed because the Dem Congress won't bend all the way over -

... like the last GOP Congress did. Lots of inappropriate groping going on. Still in the end if Junior ends up getting all he wants, this Democratic Congress will prove to be no more effective than the last GOP Congress in stopping this runaway trainwreck of a presidency.
