15. Hagel is NOT a nut job
he is conservative, two very different things. He is also tolerant, willing to compromise, and smart. As to the war, there are not many politicians in either party that have been as critical or tried to do so much. On the other hand, the chances that he will get close to the presidency in any shape or form are hovering somewhere around 0% or below, so...

17. LOL! That was personal. He just fucking hates Nelson, and was trying to sink
him. Hagel knows Nelson's nowhere near Kennedy--that was just vicious politics, Nebraska-style. And frankly, I don't like Nelson either. I heard him on the radio last week answering questions from constituents, and he sounded like a RW-pandering fool, not a Democrat.
