I'm still pissed at Obama, BUT....
The guy seems to have a terrific ground operation.

I live in Kansas, right on the Missouri border. So far, in the past couple of weeks I've been invited to the following:

1. A caucus training session in preparation for the Kansas caucus
2. The opening of the Lawrence, KS campaign office
3. The opening of the Kansas City, MO campaign office

I've also donated to the Edwards campaign and so far I've only been asked to volunteer in Iowa. This makes me wonder if Iowa isn't the make-or-break for Edwards, and if Obama is still intending to carry on a 50 state ground game regardless of the outcome in Iowa/NH. Maybe I'm reading too much into the early strategy right now, but Obama seems to be in this thing for the duration.

Anyway, Edwards needs to get his act together. My sister was a ward leader in KC for Kerry/Edwards in 2004 and has been itching to organize her ward for Edwards - but there's nothing organized, apparently, for Missouri's February 5th primary. She's going to check out the Obama campaign headquarters Saturday, and I don't think they'll have to work too hard to get her interest. This isn't good for Edwards.
