Obama is an ex-Baby Boomer. He has managed to switch generations. A miracle.

2. No
According to Generation X by Coupland, one of the books that started the who stupid "Generation" thing, the Baby Boomers were done by 1960.

7. Obama has an "International Background" with Kenya/Hawaii..
and his background is VERY DIFFERENT from other Presidential Candidates...in that he's Presenting the International View of America rather than being "home grown."

Maybe that's a GOOD THING...Maybe it could Hurt Him.?

8. Circle the Wagons!
Instead of talking about Hillary's inability to discuss the issues, we're talking about the definition of baby boomer.

Awesome.

22. Or
U2, Dave Matthews Band, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, now go listen to your Petula Clark old man!

p.s. you take away Patty Harrison sleeping around and you lose 10% of the great songs from the 60's! Man she must have been good.

20. I was born in 62
It used to be '60 as a cutoff, now it is '64. Think about it, the Vietnam War, Woodstock, Beatlemania, THE 60's occurred when we were in diapers and grade school. Our first National Election was 1980. So I am sure you can see that there were some major events that shaped the era that we were too young to be directly involved. I believes Obama's point is that those coming of age in the 60's had a fairly big split and seemed to take sides on everything. For the war, against the war; listened to the Beatles, Stones, The Who, Cream, or listened to Dave Clark Five, Elvis, The Turtles, Neil Diamond; smoked a bit of weed, or cut their hair short and drank Coors. It seems his point is that those people, think Clinton's, Gingrich, Ollie North, Rush, have been on opposite sides of every issue all through High School and College, and it has become a learned response that if X does A then I am either for it or against it based upon X. (Although I bet Hillary listened to the Turtles)

If you are interested I can dispute Brokaw's greatest generation claim! My opinion is that it belongs to the generation before him! So there, now I have pissed off everyone from 50 to 75 years old.
