Ron Paul Followers Sheople, Tin Foil Hatters, or Extremist Anarcho-Capitalists?
Edited on Thu Nov-08-07 10:53 PM by Rabo Karabekian
What is up with the Ron Paul groundswell? Who is looking to him to lead this nation? Do they genuinely believe in his views, have they been suckered, or are there more people whose number 1 issue is the NWO than anyone would have suspected?

3. Watching the Repugs run around like chickens with their heads culooking for a candidate
who doesn't make their skin crawl has been, and will be, one of the more enjoyable election seasons I've passed in a while.

6. All of the above, plus Repugs who are as desperate to end the
war as we are. That's the fool's only advantage on their side, he's antiwar.

He's completely nuts, but he's right on that one issue.

7. What has the NWO
done for you lately?

If the extreme left hates him, the moderate right will like him.

If the extreme right hates him, the moderate left will like him.

That would leave him a pretty wide field to navigate.

8. Paul Theories
Ha, ha thanks for the answers. Some funny some inciteful, some both. I'm just trying to put my finger on why this guy (at least on the internet) seems to be more well spoken of than Ghandi.

10. Mostly simple minded idiots
If you look at his supporter's comments, they are really, really into the libertarian "ideal" of no or really small/weak central government. This is a whole group of repukes who have been ignored by the big biz crony capitalism group. People whose mantra is "cut taxes, reduce government, privatize everything"- but the difference is they don't want government doing ANYTHING.

11. I think Ron Paul is the darling of the alienated white males.
Edited on Fri Nov-09-07 07:56 AM by Perry Logan
Ron Paul is favored mostly by white males who have given up on the whole system. Thanks to the right-controlled media, these guys are almost universally ignorant of Democratic accomplishments. So they think the government is completely shot.

13. Ron Paul is honest
This is where he is getting his support.

Ron Paul has two big issues, Iraq and sound money. With the dollar dropping like a rock and the mess in Iraq, Ron Paul has some obvious support.

This is not meant to be an endorsement of Paul since I disagree with him on a whole range of issues--too many to think about supporting him, but I can certainly understand his support.
