The MSM Said Al Gore Had Three Faces
During the 00 campaign the MSM crucified Al Gore and contended that he had a different personality in each debate... The implicit suggestion was that he had no core or self... That incessant criticism of his first debate performance made him almost deferential to Bush* in the second debate... By the time the third debate came around the criticism of Al Gore had him and his staff second guessing himself once again...

What's my point?

Don't take solace in the fact that the MSM is bashing a Democratic candidate you don't like... Your favorite candidate might be next....

which unfortunately seems to dominate American politics.

5. The Best Part Was When Bush* Said "I Know That"
It was almost as good as when Fritz Mondale told Reagan that he said "nuclear missiles could be recalled once they left their silos"...

2. Well, the Dem 'MACHINE' I helped fund over the decades hasn't exactly shown up
to provide back up for Democrats under attack the last 7 years has it?

And then that same Dem 'MACHINE' dangles its power and brags that THEY are the only game in town for Dems so we better knuckle under.

17. They didn't help Carter, either when he was under attack from beginning of his
Administration just like Clinton. They put people in power just to take them out ...if they are Democrats.

Did you see John Dean's interview on Buzzflash? He say the Repugs make the Presidency stronger when they are in power then attack Dems when they come into power so that they can have the same powers back and increase them. He said it better than I...but the interview's here on DU somewhere.

Our Dems don't support their own Dems when they get into power. I imagine Gore looked at Reid and Pelosi and their performance and realized that it would be nothing but for years of "Ozone Man" and investigations into his whole life and his kids lives and he felt it wasn't worth it.

That's what's so sad about it all. Maybe if Reid and Pelosi had not kept caving in such a whiney fashion and throwing the Dem Activists under the bus ...Gore might have felt he'd have the backing he needed. But...now we are back to the same old game that's on rewind....like a movie stuck in the VCR.

6. Yeah, Al Gore = Evil
We all know that, because the media deemed it so. And I wonder why Rudy "a noun, a verb and 9/11" Giuliani isn't subject to the same treatment? He seems to be, by turns, bellicose, conciliatory, the darling of evangelicals, tough, forgetful, leaderly, befuddled, but always Amurrica's Mare. But Gore had three faces and didn't know who he was. Giuliani is the next Daddy-Savior for the nattering masses.

14. Cause rudytooty is a Fascist and
Gore is for the People. The problem is that The People buckle under and were believing what they read and heard in the m$$$$m so they went with fascism. Hope they're massively gettin' Wised Up.
