So they want to set a goal

The democratic controlled Congress wants to set a "goal" of having troops withdrawn by December, 2008. BFD.
Instead of a "goal" why don't you DEMAND that the troop withdrawl begin immediately, since the surge is working so well, and the withdrawl be completed as soon as possible?

This is simply another copout on the mandates that you were elected for. CHANGE. ACCOUNTABILITY. PUNISHMENT.

Please do what the hell you were elected to do! How many of you that were newly elected to the House and Senate want to be one termers?
