State legislator from Ottumwa endorses Biden

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Joe Biden picked up his 13th endorsement from an Iowa state legislator today with a nod from Rep. Mary Gaskill of Ottumwa.
Gaskill, a former Wapello County auditor, praised the Delaware senator's bipartisan abilities to draft landmark legislation, including his plan for Iraq and legislation combating violence against women.

"Sen. Biden has proven he can build bipartisan consensus on the most important challenges facing our country," Gaskill said in a statement. "He is sincere, authentic and I believe he is the best candidate the Democrats have -- and that is why I am supporting him."
