The Hillary hatred on this board puts me in a foul mood...When I'm in a foul mood I become a "major league asshole". But it's the contempt the contempt produced.

edited- contempt for hate

The Rethuglicans can not win the White House without either Florida or Ohio...

Yeah, but ONLY if that California initiative
to split the states electoral votes does not make it to the ballot, (or gets defeated)....The Democratic candiate will win California, that's a no brainer, the only question is will that states electoral votes be split....

19. Yeah, well, you were here in '04, right?
Same shit, different election. :)

I still can't decide if it's worse this time or not. It seems so, but maybe '04 is looking "better" due to the fog of time.

16. Most here are unaware of the dirt on Guillianni.
They are well aware of the dirt on HRC because Limbaugh etc. won't let them forget. Most don't know he's divorced twice or has flip-flopped on abortion and gun control. That doesn't even get into his management of NYC or hawkishness.

17. WTF?
Was there a thread that said that Hillary leading against Ghouliani is a bad thing?

Or are you just making shit up?

Hillary leading v/ real democrats = bad thing.

Hillary leading v/ any repub = good thing.

I don't want her as our nominee because I believe she will lose. The media has been playing her up, treating her with kid gloves ever since she announced - and if she is nominated will do a 180.

There are others I'm sure can beat the republicans - with her, I'm sure it will be so close that they'll steal it, whether she 'wins' or not.

That's not hatred - it's reality.

21. I'm Not Making Anything The Fuck Up
I'm not making anything the fuck up... I never said or implied there was a thread here that stated Ghouliani beating Clinton was a bad thing...But there are dozens of threads that suggest Hillary Can't beat the Rethugicans... You're entitled to your opinion that she can't but your opinion is contradicted by most of the empirical data that exists...

I have been trying to remain civil by ignoring several people but I'm right here now...

23. Maybe I misunderstood -- but (sic) does mean
Edited on Thu Nov-15-07 01:13 PM by NCevilDUer
"I am quoting somebody else here, there are not my words".

Maybe what you meant was: More "bad" news...

OK. So I'm a grammar nazi today.

ON EDIT - Knowing we have differing opinions about Hillary, and the efficacy of citing polls, I would have let this pass if I hadn't thought there was a quote there.

25. I Really Am Not Looking For Fights
I literally ignore lots of negative threads here, not as in using the ignore function, but in reading them and not responding... And I (almost) never start any or jump in..It's not my nature...

I believe (sic) is usually used to bring attention to a misspelled word but it can also be used to denote irony... I was relying on the latter meaning... Polls that show Hillary doing well undermine the case she can't win and that displeases the people who believe just that...Nothing more... Nothing less...

18. That's OK, but considering Ohio's experience
with the Republicans and the Taft Administration she should be winning by about 20%. If Carrot Top ran as a Democrat he could probably carry Ohio today.

24. in "strategery" calculations for EV's, it is best to NOT count on either FL or OH,
but rather get it that it will mean taking 3 out of 4 of the following SW states: Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Arizona ...

IMHO, the 2008 election will be decided in the southwest ...

26. Hmmm
I respectfully disagree...

As someone who has lived in FL almost his entire life I think it would be easier to flip Florida than to flip three of the four states you mention...

Bill Clinton got 48% of the vote in a three person race...It can be done...
