Poll question: If you're going to watch the debate, where will you be?
Edited on Thu Nov-15-07 04:42 PM by zulchzulu
Watching a debate in a large crowd is a lot different than at home. I'll be watching at the Memorial Union in Madison in a large room with a large screen...mmmm, beer...

CNN at 8EST

1. our democratic club meets at my favourite watering hole--and I believe we are going
to need lots of alcohol to get through the debates.

6. I went to a few Presidential Debate Parties
back in '04. Fun times, really. Cheering, booing, laughing, drinking.

10. Me too...except there was no debate...

so there wasn't much cheering, or booing. There was laughing though..and a lot of drinking. I think I may have been without out a shirt at one point...that might be when the laughing started...but I definitely recall at one point the police showed up, and there was something about cheese. It's all pretty fuzzy.

Happily living in a non-police state. Watching the craziness from afar. :hi:

4. I've got class then.
Sociology of International Law. Interesting class; too bad I'll miss the debate. I've got it set up to record on VCR, though.

8. I'd love to find like minded people in Sacramento watching.
I've got a 60" screen and a small apartment if anyone wants to come over. (And by the way, Wolf Blitzer is right now asking a repug. advisor what advice he has for Edwards tonight. What in the hell is wrong with these people?)
