Poll question: Will Hillary directly attack any other candidates tonight?
Hillary didn't directly attack any of the other candidates during the last debate. Will it be different tonight?

1. When you're the front runner, you don't need to. NT

4. Is she really the front runner?
I'd say there are no true front runners in the campaign this early. Is it worth letting the others creep up? I don't think so.

2. No. I think she's too smart to get caught up in that crap. Although I'd love
to see it!

5. Where'd you hear that?
Why Obama? Does she perceive him as a threat? I guess Obama is the one to gain with Edwards on the attack.

11. Someone on Tweety said that. I don't know if he's perceived as a threat
or she needs to deflect his comments. My TV is behind me, so I'm 1/2 listening.

8. That depends what you mean by direct attack.
I would not be surprised to see a deftly worded retort aimed at John Edwards. But I doubt she will hit first, preferring to counterattack.

10. That would count.
Addressing someone directly or speaking about someone specifically.

9. I don't see it. She doesn't want to give up the air of being above it all.
I think it's a mistake, personally, but one I'm happy to see her make.

13. No. It "legitimizes" them by suggesting she thinks they're worth mentioning.
She still wants all the attention on her.

17. no
she won't be able to play the victim if she does.

but, maybe she can triangulate and directly attack her opponents for picking on her.

18. Does "they boys are picking on me again!!!" count as attacking the other candidates?
