Actually, I think all our Democratic contenders "won" last night!

Every one of them came off looking smart, informed and bright. Even Obama's so-called stumble had substance, altho I just wish he had let the DL for illegal aliens lie -- the issue is a loser for us. But I thought everyone looked terrific and each had their moments, and there were many "moments."

As I watched the debate I kept thinking that compared to what the Republican candidates are serving up --rewarmed garbage -- our candidates are full of knowledge, confidence and vibrancy. The brains and talent on display last night should stand in sharp relief to the lame, mediocre and downright stupidity of the Republican cardboard characters.

Bravo and brava, Democrats!

Every question that was asked was answered intelligently and with knowledge by all of the candidates. In contrast to the Bush/Kerry debates where Bush could barely pronounce the names of the countries.

We have a great group of leaders.

They each contribute something positive. The Repuplicans are all a sorry bunch with backwards and sometimes ludicrus ideas. I don't understand their thinking. Not since McCarthy has this country seen so many whacko's come out of the closet. At that time I couldn't understand how he got away with so many lies and how he could destroy so many lives without anyone stopping him. Even the President seemed unable to say anything for fear of being called a commie. Today the fear is being against our troops and against National Security. The same but different, now its the terrorists before the commies.
