President George W. Bush is joined by Mrs. Laura Bush in the East Room of the White House, Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, in an address to invited guests in celebration of National Adoption Day. President Bush, in speaking to parents and children, said he was "So thankful that the parents and children here today have found the gift of one another. 3. As an adoptee, I find this very offensive
and I am not alone, but that is a topic for another time.
