Just one reason any Democrat is better than Giuliani
Speaking to the Federalist Society about "strict constructionist judges:"

"This organization, probably more than most, understands how crucial that difference will be if a president is elected who has the kind of thinking of a Hillary Clinton or a Barack Obama or a John Edwards, and I don’t think there’s much distinction there. I think you’re going to see 200 decisions of judges who are like those judges who really began the reason for the Federalist Society in the first place. Judges who will be activists in the sense of trying to legislate their social policy through judicial interpretation."

(snip)

"I stand with Ronald Reagan. He was once accused of having a 19th century attitude on law and order. He responded that it was a false charge. He had an 18th century attitude.

(APPLAUSE)

Our Framers had no doubt about the proper approach to interpretation of the Constitution. You could say they were the original originalists..."

1. Sort of like Potato chips.
Once you get going on reasons why Guiliani is horrible, you just can't stop at one.

Thanks for the post and going to the site so the rest of us don't have to.

4. Not a lot of substance there
Sketchy on the issues, and mostly links to him speaking rather than to written words. I don't know if that's because they think he's a charismatic speaker (:puke:) or because they think his supporters are illiterate.

3. True but we will still hear the Clinton=Giuliani lies in 2008
just like we heard the Gore=Bush lies in 2000.

5. Bill Clinton appointed Federal Society jurists to the federal bench
He never appointed a single liberal to the bench!
