December 15, 2007, the people will speak... (new DK site?)

So far, the run up to the 2008 presidential election has shown that the power still lies with the people, as individuals have donated more in this election than ever before.

The first amendment gave the people the right to free speech and political donations are an integral form of free speech.

Let's show that our voice is louder than the PACs and $2,300 maxed-out, bundled donations of corporations.

Our goal is to get 100,000 people to commit to donate $100 each to Dennis Kucinich on December 15, 2007, for a total one-day contribution of $10 million.

They follow me around in the pasture, prompting my grandson to chant, "Grandma had a little lamb...."

They could follow me to school; I'm a teacher, and we've had students bring in 4h lambs for "show and tell" before. :D

Mine are a rare, endangered hair breed that isn't used for 4H, so there is less demand. Hence the trouble finding them homes. I just keep them to help keep the grass and weeds down on the place. I figured I could add to the gene pool while I did so, but will have to advertise nationally to find homes.
