So the President LIED and knew about Plame
Question is was Fitzpatrick paid off to over look this or was he hoodwinked.

2. I think rather he lacked the smoking gun
If he had had an open and shut case, he would have brought it.

The only thing a prosecutor hates worse than not bringing a case is
bringing a case and losing it (unless you are Kenneth Starr, and
couldn't care less about the outcome).

3. Yep, it's assholes like Scottie who kept Fitz from being able to bring the case
Too much sand thrown in his face ...

4. I think Fitz was a good Republican
An even slightly aggressive prosecutor would have gone after the entire administration. We should have seen indictments of Rove, Armitage, Cheney and probably David Addington. Sure, they probably would not have all been convicted, but the information brought out under oath would have spelled the end of this criminal regime.

5. I Thought I Heard John Dean Say That Fitz Didn't End The Investigation And....
he could call up another 'grand jury' and continue. I was wondering if Scotty was ever called to testify during the original investigation by Fitz?

I've been singing "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Fitzmas" since I heard Scotty's quotes.

6. Insufficient evidence.
He said as much at the time. It'll be interesting to see if he's allowed to re-open the case.
