1. Richardson is in a great position right now.
He's surging in both Iowa and New Hampshire. The polls could also be turned upside down in Iowa come caucus time. Richardson could vault over anyone. Coming from behind by a huge margin (when you're not stuck in single digits) has happened time and time again in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Over at the Richardson website, their ecstatic right now.

6. *Somebody* will surge into second past eroding Edwards - so why not Richardson?
NH's just not buying the snakeoil Edwards is selling.

7. Richardson on NH polling from latest email:
"I have campaigned everywhere, shook so many hands and visited so many New Hampshire towns," Richardson said. "I love doing it, but when you see the fruits of your labor producing momentum, that's where I want to be."
Richardson said he thinks voters are making the connection that he's qualified to bring change to the country.
"What's happening in New Hampshire is they are seeing me as a candidate who has serious experience -- as a governor, as a diplomat and as a secretary of energy," Richardson said. "That I've been able to bring change."

8. Hmmm, his numbers are looking good these days.
We have heard here that he has spent a lot of time in Iowa and New Hampshire - has he been anywhere else or is he counting on doing well in those 2 places in order to surge elsewhere?

Just wondering because I have so little time each day to spend on politics and just can't keep up with everything.
