How is that no good goofy looking fuck, Glenn Beck, allowed to plagiarize & mock Al Gore on CNN?
Edited on Wed Nov-21-07 04:26 PM by mtnsnake
with that worthless compilation of trash someone from under a rock wrote for him, "An Inconvenient Book".

His publisher, Simon and Schuster, ought to be ashamed for letting this clown get away with mocking the great Al Gore with putting out trash like this with a title that belittles Al Gore's incredible environmental achievements.

I didn't even know this fucking goof had this book out until CNN started blabbing about some show tonight where they're going to be pushing Beck and his "book". What a disgrace that CNN feels they have to have this incredibly narrow-minded ignoramus on their lineup to balance out their staff. And what a fucking coward Beck is to entitle his book after Gore's movie like that. Obviously, it's the only way this coward could ever get anyone to notice it since no doubt it doesn't have a credible paragraph in it. It's just amazing what kind of fucking imbeciles appeal to conservatives.

1. Well, his friends own the press.
That makes publishing propaganda a lot easier.

4. 5 years from now, as the effects of global warming become stark...
Edited on Wed Nov-21-07 04:37 PM by Cooley Hurd
...Al Gore will be looked upon as a hero and a prophet, and Glenn Beck will STILL look like an asshat.

I hope his paycheck will be sufficient enough to overcome the public shunning and spitting he'll endure.

6. I don't believe it will take five years, look at what's happening in Austraila,
not to mention the droughts in the U.S., I wonder how much Beck believes this will cost?

"Like many climate change deniers in politics, Howard has been frantically re-adjusting his stance over the past couple of years in an effort to stay abreast of public opinion. (Even George W Bush has been heard to utter the phrase "global warming.") But he still refuses to sign the Kyoto accord, and he still insists that "technology" will solve the problem without any need for major changes in the lifestyle of countries like Australia.

It used to work, but one huge fact has turned politics around in Australia. The country is in the seventh year of the worst drought since European settlement began over two centuries ago, and very many Australians have begun to fear that it is permanent. Droughts are cyclical events and will eventually end. But if this is really an early example of what climate change will do to countries in the mid-latitudes, then it's never going away again."

9. But, Neil Boortz says regularly on his radio show that within 10
to 15 years, we will all learn that "global warming" was a hoaxed designed to take money away from the achievers and give to the under achievers.

19. I think in ten to fifteen years......
there will be large numbers of people trying to recover from having spent their youth believing people like Beck, Limbaugh, etc. Seriously. At some point the more intelligent (but young) right-wing radio/tv audience will get enough real world experience to understand how thoroughly they have been deceived. I foresee a whole new recovery movement.

Sometime when you have some extra time, check out this video on impeachment which talks about the terrible job our media is doing. Another DUer posted this and it is really good.

7. Even tho he has the lowest ever rated show on TV my son hit the nail on the head
He says he is so controversial and generates so much play back on his crap that they keep him on to get ads. The more he has controversy the better they like it. Could be true.

11. Your son is very observant
Yup, he did hit the nail on the head. Unfortunately, that's how so many of these long-winded pukes like Beck make a living. The more controversial they are the more the neocons are attracted to them. For sure even Beck probably doesn't believe a word of what he regurgitates on his shows, but he knows he's not going to make a cent by speaking the truth.

14. I HATE BECK.. QUESTION ABOUT CLINTON
HEY ALL;

I am new in the forum, well, not quite. I have been reading you guys for years, I have cried with you and have celebrated also, but did it in the backgroun.. I finally decided to join because I can take it anymore!!.. I have this republican fuc- at work who is driving me crazy, and obviously i can go anywhere else to seek help, you guys are the brightest and smartest and i know you can help me wiht what I want.

I know Bill Clinton did a lot of good things for this country and i can list a few of them, but I would really like is tohave a list of all the good things that President Clinton did while he was president so I can send it to this guy who has called Presdient Clinton a loser, a terrorist because he led Osama escape, and had called Bill a womanizer that all he did in his eight years was to sleep around with women. Yes, you heard it. All Bill did was to sleep around. That's how closed-minded this guy is. I would like to challenge his ignorance a bit.

Can some of you help me and list a few of the greatest things/legislatures President Clinton did or passed while he was President?

Thanks so much. I am really happy to be here. You are like a family to me, I don't feel to be a lone Democrat anymore.

Here's one list of many: http://pearlyabraham.tripod.com/htmls/bill-legacy2.html

Welcome to the forum. BTW, don't be surprised if you meet lots of people here who don't like Bill (or Hillary), unfortunately. It's hard to figure because he has gone down as one of the best presidents in modern times. We need someone just like him again to right the all the wrongs done by Bush and Co.

17. Um because CNN is run by a bunch of shallow, opportunistic jerks
Cnn decided a while back that they needed to make news into entertainment.

It now shows in every bit of their programming, from the annoying chatting anchors to putting on some meathead like Beck to try and attract some of Bill O'Liely's audience.

They'd put on a monkey in a cage for an hour if they thought it would "jazz up" their ratings.
