How many former Republicans have registered Democrat or Independent?
I'm really curious and, while I know there is a trend, nobody's presented the numbers. It's probably the MSM again, avoiding scaring the pants off the Republics (not that they need any help getting their pants off).

1. In many places they may not plan to vote in the primary so haven't changed registration.
They'll vote for any Democrat.

In Tennessee, for example, you don't register by party. You can vote in the primary by declaring which one you want to vote in when you show up. It can be a different one each time. However, you can only vote in one primary at a time. Some people want to vote for different offices in different primaries in the same primary election but that's not allowed. Pick the primary you want, then vote in it.

2. Why not put every name on the ballot?
That way people don't have to vote the party line in the primary either.

3. It would make no sense to have a primary if all names
were on the ballot. The purpose of having a primary is to choose a party candidate. If everyone could vote then voters from another party could determine a party's candidate.

5. Let us not overlook the number of Democrats who have
changed their registration to Independent this election.
