So Pelosi wants 10,000 written letters before she'll consider putting impeachment back on the table

I wonder how many hand written letters it took her to take impeachment OFF. Judging by how quickly she snuggled up to the enemy, I would say one at the most.

and that was a long time ago, so I don't need any excuse. Our letters were sent in a long time ago, way before reading about her proposal on the DU thread. Is that alright with you?

to Cindy Sheehan who didn't trust Pelosi to count correctly... I'll send one as many times as I can and should, until she does what she is mandated to do by the Constitution.

The original source backed out. The pro-impeachment movement retracted, after they'd scored lots of E-mail names for their lists. The whole notion was stupid to begin with. Why would Nancy Pelosi say she'd change here mind if she got 10,000 E-mails?

The pro-impeachment crowd ran a hoax before. That time they said Pelosi was conducting a call in poll on impeachment out of her office. There was no poll. It was all a trick by the pro-impeachment crowd to harass Pelosi.

They said they wanted it all to go through Cindy Sheehan so they could get a count to see if they had 10,000. Of course, since the whole story was a lie I don't believe the getting a count excuse for a second. The request to mail through Cindy was up on all the impeachment sites. Here's an E-mail from Cindy I got:

House Resolution 333 for the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney is off the House floor, and has instead been sent to the Judiciary Committee for "further study." This maneuver, organized by Pelosi and the Democratic leadership, is consistent with their mantra that impeachment is "off the table." But, we are told Nancy Pelosi is reported to have replied to the question of impeachment that if she received 10,000 hand written letters she would proceed with it. What are we waiting for?

AFAIC, the time to write her was right after she took it off the table. That's what we did because of how strongly we felt about impeachment, and still do.
