Hillary Clinton Leads Comfortably In South Carolina
11/256/07

Where Senator Barack Obama is currently leading in the polls in Iowa, Senator Hillary Clinton continues to lead in just about every other state. Among them: South Carolina.

“The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of the race shows Clinton with 43% of the vote while Obama is the top choice for 33% of the state’s Likely Primary Voters,” according to Rasmussen reports.

Back in September, Clinton was leading as well: 43% vs. 30%. This means that Obama is doing better in SC, but only slightly. The improvement is within the margin of error.

All the other candidates don’t stand a chance of winning SC: John Edwards is in third place with 11%, no other candidate “tops the 2% level of support.”
