the more I read on this board, about Edwards, Obama, Hillary, etc. the more convinced I am that he is just so right for the country. The other candidates are making non issues, big issues, to play to the crowd, and it's getting really old...

But someone desperately needs to normalize the audio on that thing. I think the volume changed about 10 times in a minute & a half clip.

And I don't give Biden credit on much, he seems to be the only one who understands "the national question" as regards Iraq. Well, he may not be the only Dem candidate to understand the issue-- I think Gravel, DK and Dodd may grasp it as they seem to understand a bit about imperialism and neocolonialism (even if they don't use these words), but Biden seems to just intutitively "get" the essential problem in Iraq. Not that I'm agreeing with his proposed "solution", but it does indicate he understands the problem of different national groups coexisting within borders drawn by colonial occupiers towards political ends beneficial to the Brits and the Iraqi elite rather than Iraqis themselves.

That being said, I wouldn't vote for him.

Biden's ad is right on.

It seems while the top three candidates are bickering and parsing everything, Joe continues to talk straight. I gotta believe that the American people will realize that Joe Biden is heads and above all of the other candidates.

I have always noticed this "Joe is right" trend in the debates all along. Glad to see him make some use of it.

I appreciate how Biden is positive and focused. It's very respectful towards the other candidates too, which is worth noting.

I liked how, when Edwards and Obama were slinging mud at Clinton and he was asked to comment, he feigned reluctance to speak and then went on to subtly chastise Edwards and Obama for their tone followed by his highlighting his own record. In a matter of seconds he schooled the others on what it meant to be a class act

I didn't know it was still possible. Imagine what he'll do to his Republican challenger. It will be like watching Mohammad Ali fight.
