Is Bob Schrum running Joe Biden's campaign?

As I read a lot of the postings here from the Bidenites it seems like they are all trying position him as an alternative to Clinton, Edwards and Obama. Now he has an ad with those candidates saying "I agree with Biden".

OK, If those candidates agree with Biden, why should their voters change positions and vote for Biden?

This has to be the worst peice of political advertizing since Dukakis in the tank.

Triangualating is stupid. It just doesn't work. As I see this ad all I see is Biden claiming "I'm like them and they are like me, we all agree!!!!"

It doesn't really tell me what he's offering that differs from the other candidates. Quite frankly, there isn't much that differs him from them except his abortions stances are horrible and he doesn't stand up to the credit card companies.

Other than that I don't see a difference.

My idea of proving that you are an alternative to the other candidates is to go at an issue that you are right on, that they claim you got wrong.

Chances are, an ad with everyone claiming you are right on something just says "we agree, we are all the same". It's extremely Bob Schrumesque.

I like that DK makes those attempts.

As much as I am not big on Edwards, at least he's trying to do that to. Although I find most of it dishonest.

At least it opens up the dialogue on the issues. Watching Hillary and Obama go back and forth is tiring.
