For my 1000th post, a simple hope.

Less than one year from now, we will have made it through the election.

I just hope for my sake, the sake of my fellow citizens, and our friends all over the world that we can have a president that will make us proud.

One who will remember that there are a whole lot more of us at the bottom than on top, and that we're all equally as important.

One that thinks peace is kind of a good idea and will at least give it a real shot before threatening another nation and its people.

One that understands that our Constitution is pretty incredible and doesn't need to be shredded or amended for political gain.

And one that knows that they'll be a private citizen again 4-8 years later and has to live in the world they've influenced.


Thanks for putting up with me for 1000 posts. We're getting closer every day to having the bums out of office. Smile!


PS: For those interested, my little brother who recently got back from Iraq is doing great and will be done with his enlistment in under 3 weeks. :-)
