Edited on Tue Nov-27-07 06:57 AM by cali
And none are worthy of being President. Their negatives are too high and they're corporate lackeys or they're dangerously unseasoned in national politics, or they're a snake oil salesman. They're too short, too black, too female. They're liars and panderers. They're just the same as george bush. They're republicans in dem clothing. They're fascists. They're war mongers. AIPAC owns them body and soul. They're illuminati. They're having affairs. They did drugs.

What did I miss?

Anyway, it's clear it's hopeless and they'd be no better than Guiliani or Romney.

You've convinced me:

We're DOOOOMED.

3. Well, there's that...
but we're also doomed if a Republican becomes president, too.

The problem, of course, isn't most of what you said above but that really good people who would care about, you know, people and not multi-national corporations either don't run or can't get elected through the media myopia and money maze.

4. They have not
convinced me. I have always
been able to do a little research
of the candidates and their records
to be able to come to an informed
opinion......all by myself.

26. Alas, I do not get off so simply
I was born in Virginia, have been a Texan longer than a Virginian, and have the
corresponding cadence when speaking English.

On the other hand, as they say over in Langley, "ve haff vays to make you talk."
Or, in the more modern Cheney version, "ve haff vays to make you say vat ve vant to hear."

31. In my travels, I have been to most of the 50 states
And the ones I have yet to visit mostly have a common border with Canada.
I can say with first-hand knowledge that, contrary to belief in some quarters,
intelligent life does indeed exist on our side of Charles' and Jeremiah's
demarcation. Even next year's Netroots (successor to Yearly Kos) has been
slated for Austin, TX, and it hasn't even been designated a sortie into enemy territory.

But then, many of them are the usual suspects. The more hysterical they get, the more obvious their not-so-hidden intentions.

15. Cali, for what its worth
I hope you do give up on DU any time soon. I appreciate and value your posts, your flair, fair play and rationality, more than a dozen rants, and 'misstatements' by our various delluminati. Thank you for the time, effort and feeling you put into the discussions here. The thread on 'prayerful' abortion can't have been much fun, but I learned something. Thanks again.

Hillary shakes her head while affirming that she will support the dem nominee. oooh. how terrible.

Obama clears his throat nervously. Is this a signal he's lying?

Edwards flicks his tongue and eyelids at times: That must be when he's lying.

unfuckingbelievable how stupid is winning out.
