Biden vistis as Waldorf students get set to host mock caucus

FOREST CITY - Waldorf College is hosting a mock caucus event in an effort to help prepare local residents for the upcoming Republican and Democratic caucuses.

The mock caucus is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Atrium. The public is encouraged to attend. The event will come two days after Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden discussed the importance of the Iowa caucus system.

"Iowa and New Hampshire are the only two places in the country that level the playing field," Biden told a crowd when asked about the fact that his fundraising has lagged behind frontrunnners like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. "Iowa gives a guy like me an honest chance because people here listen and take part in the process. I'm counting on Iowa.
