It's in the best interests of the GOP that the writers' strike continue as long as possible,
because it knocks Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert off the air, and a huge number of young voters
are part of their nightly audience. Comedy writers on all the other late night shows, as well, skew towards
being against the Republican regime and poking fun at their foibles and crimes.

We - the sane majority - have lost some of our best venues for reaching
the young voting demographic. I'm wondering to what extent politics will play a part
in the settling of this dispute, and what the ramifications will be if it is not settled
for months (as many are currently predicting).

Any thoughts?
